Luke holds a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management from Northern Michigan University. He has over half a decade of professional dog training experience and nearly a decade of overall experience working with dogs. He is also an AKC Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen program, Trick Dog, and others. While living in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, he developed a passion for sled dogs. After his junior year, Luke interned at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation in Illinois, where he spent the summer caring for and working with a group of over 20 hunting dogs, including English Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, and English Cocker Spaniels.
Currently, he trains gun dogs full-time and guides upland bird hunts. When he's not working, Luke enjoys spending time outdoors with his two yellow Labs. Whether it's hiking, canoeing, fishing, or just running errands, you'll always find him accompanied by his loyal companions.
